Election Info

Below you will find election information and links for current elections, as well as how to register to vote, request absentee ballots, track your ballot progress, and your voting history.

 For everyone's safety with the current pandemic we are encouraging those who are able to vote absentee.

The Town of Johnstown voting location is at the Johnstown Community Center, located at 9937 E. Cty. Truck A, Janesville WI. 
 On election day the polls are open from 7:00am to 8:00pm.
Photo Id Required, and if registering you will need proof of residency.  You must be a township resident for at least 28 days.  Details on accepted forms can be found here 
The Community Center is ADA accessible, and we have the Express Vote machine for those who need additional recourses to accommodate your needs.  

Register to Vote  If you are not currently registered to vote you can apply in the following ways-
1. Contact the Township Clerk Mary Mawhinney at 262-203-1756 or at johnstownclerk@outlook.com  to set up an appointment
2. Go to myvote.wi.gov and register online.
3. In person Absentee voting 14 days prior to elections.

Election Day Voting  -At this time, social distancing will be practiced and Covid sanitizing will be performed.
